Rules & Waiver

1. Players must be a minimum age of 13 to participate. Players under 18 MUST have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. 

2. All players are required to wear ANSI-rated eye protection AT ALL TIMES on the field. Full face protection is highly recommended. 

3. All airsoft guns must be chronographed before play. The maximum FPS allowed is 400 for rifles and 350 for pistols. 

4. Minimum engagement distance of 15 feet. Handguns 5ft. No shooting at point-blank range. 

5. A hit is defined as any contact by a BB with any part of a player's body or gear. Friendly fire counts. When hit, players must shout "HIT!" loudly and immediately and may display a red rag to indicate they are out if they so wish. Ricochets and gun hits do not count.

6. Physical contact between players is strictly prohibited. 

7. No Pyrotechnic devices 

8. Players must be able to see their target when shooting. No shooting through cracks or over barriers without looking. 

9. Respectful communication is required at all times. No aggressive language or behavior will be tolerated. 

10. The use of alcohol or illegal drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Players suspected to be under the influence will be asked to leave.

11. Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is highly discouraged in public spaces, smoking may be done in areas away from the Staging Area. Players who chose to smoke are required to be responsible for their waste, due to the heightened fire risk.**

12. Players are encouraged to STAY HYDRATED, especially in the hot Southern California climate. Breaks for water are recommended. 

13. Play may be suspended or cancelled in the case of extreme weather conditions (e.g., high heat, heavy rain, thunderstorms). 

14. The park is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Players are encouraged to label and keep track of their gear. 

15. Players are required to clean up their area and dispose of trash properly. 

16. In case of an emergency, follow the instructions of the staff immediately. Familiarize yourself with the location of first aid kits and emergency exits. 

17. Park staff reserve the right to refuse service to or expel ANYONE who does not comply with any of the park rules.

**If the field area is threatened by a high fire danger, Fontana Ranch Staff reserve the right to enforce a No-Smoking Policy if necessary.

NOTICE: Players should be responsible for obtaining a clean water source, clean water is provided, and it is HIGHLY discouraged to consume any standing or ground water, as it may cause adverse health effects.
